So, during a recent brief and happy visit to casa del cybersattva and laura_md (yay!), they managed to hook me into the livejournal smack of which I'd been hearing so much about. As I mention in my profile thingy, I am not precisely sure how much I'll use the lj for journal postings vs. my own (sorely neglected) websites. But it is truly awesome to have a good hook into how/what my peeps (or at least a good subset thereof) are doing.

A brief synopsis of what I've been up to recently:
* Nerdily/Geekily working on getting affordable housing developments funded and built.
* Trying to help sell a shopping center.
* Possibly getting published (don't get too excited; it'll be one case study in a larger book)
* Healing up the knee post-surgery (still related to the injury from a few years back), and getting back to aikido-worthy physical status.
* Hanging with the B.
* Turning 30 (pretty easy when you do it in close conjunction with others, and when your mom turns 50 a few months later).
* Recently wrapping up a visit with the youngest sibling here in the Bay Area, and sending him safely back on the plane to my folks.
* Yearning to go apple-picking and make a ton o' pies.
