The state of spaced-outed-ness one achieves following the consumption of a fair amount of tasty kugel*. See also: "food coma." May be exacerbated through following up with apple bread pudding for dessert.
* Minus the raisins, substituted maple syrup for some of the sugar, put in way the hell more spices than called for, because that's how I roll. Theme ingredient was apples.
