Two Shooters for the Price of One!

I would like to officially join the Hot Fuzz love train. Started out amusing and enjoyable, then busted open a massive can o' whoopass. Oh yes, it was a beautiful thing.

Nerdcore backing band. Oh yeah.

Also, I'm pretty confident that Hot Fuzz and The Big Lebowski are a perfect double feature -- rivalling the one-two punch of Brazil and Delicatessen.

Wow. Were you at that double feature our freshman year, too? (I wasn't -- but it seems everyone I later became close to was at Images that night. When I finally saw Brazil and Delicatessen, my brain exploded.)

And yes. Hot Fuzz and The Big Lebowski would make an amazing double feature...

A pack of bloodthirsty robotic chiuaua packed with heat seeking missiles and Paris Hilton couldn't have stopped me from being in that theater.

Leaving aside B'squatch's terrifying imagery (is the robot dog packing Paris Hilton? Gah??!!?) below...

And yes. Hot Fuzz and The Big Lebowski would make an amazing double feature..."

The only question left is: how do you properly order the double feature? You could start off manic and high energy with HF, take a break to recover, then mellow out with the Dude. Or you could gradually ramp up the intensity by starting with El Duderino and then moving to HF.

I can't decide.

Gotta start with Lebowski and end with a BANG.
