Sick quake!

bobsquatch and I were jolted from our respective perches (he playing puzzle pirates, me taking my temperature) by one of these here quaint tremblors you read so much about.
The quake measured 3.7 on the Richter scale (epicentered in Berkeley); my temperature has now crested 100 deg Fahrenheit. By my RN mother's strict standards (on this matter, on other sicky type symptoms, she was somehow far less lenient), I should call in sick tomorrow. We'll see.
Once again, B-squatch was far quicker to seek a doorway than I, although it only lasted a second or two. I did take the mercury thermometer out of my mouth though. In the fourth story of a brick apartment building, 3.7 from ~3 miles away is moderately impressive. The indoors wind chimes fromcybersattva and laura_md chimed a bit from swaying--perhaps I should adopt this as my cue to seek cover?
